Xiaojia Wang

Hi! I am Xiaojia Wang. Welcome to my personal website!

I work broadly on fundamental problems related to fluid mechanics. I obtained my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue Unversity, West Lafayette in 2022. My doctoral research (under the supervison of Prof. Ivan C. Christov) is focused on the fluid–structure interactions (FSIs) of microscale flows in compliant conduits. After my PhD, I became a Postdoctoral Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and worked with Professor Silas Alben on flow dynamics and heat transfer of oscillating bodies.
